To support the National COVID-19 vaccination program, Carrier Brunei recently provided two OptiClean™ Dual-Mode Air Scrubber & Negative Air Machines for the waiting area of the indoor stadium Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex Vaccination Centre. The OptiClean units will help improve indoor air quality (IAQ) and keep more than 3,000 people a day receiving vaccinations safer at the Brunei-Muara District location. The Carrier OptiClean uses a 99.97% efficient, long-life HEPA filter to remove particles as small as 0.3 microns, then discharges cleaner air back into the room. The unit rolls easily into any room and plugs into a standard electrical outlet to quickly improve IAQ.
Launched in 2020, Carrier OptiClean is ideal for a wide range of commercial applications, including healthcare facilities, classrooms, supermarkets, hotels and retail outlets. The OptiClean was named one of TIME’s 100 Best Inventions of 2020. It was developed through rapid innovation to help support infectious isolation rooms in hospitals as a negative air machine.
