AgION

AgION™ is a revolutionary, patented zeolite matrix that is incorporated into Racan-Carrier’s paint system which uses the natural protective qualities of elemental silver ion as the active ingredient for suppressing microbial growth.

How Does AgION™ Work?

The zeolite matrix allows for the slow, controlled release of silver ions. When silver ions come into contact with bacteria and other microbes, the interaction disrupts electron transfer and cellular respiration which inhibits the growth of microbes on the treated surface.
